An agreement has been signed to implement IT solutions from the Russian technology company VOXYS into the infrastructure of the Central Bank of the Republic of Cuba.
In St. Petersburg, during a meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Cuban Commission, an agreement was signed to implement IT solutions from the Russian technology company VOXYS into the infrastructure of the Central Bank of the Republic of Cuba.
The document was signed by Andrey Semenov, Director of International Cooperation at VOXYS, and Juana Lilia Delgado Portal, President of the Central Bank of Cuba.
The international project involves the implementation of an intelligent platform to automate incoming and outgoing communications for Cuba’s financial regulator. The solution will enable a significant portion of customer inquiries to be processed automatically, reducing the burden on personnel and infrastructure.
Expected outcomes of the implementation include: reduced operational costs for communication processing; increased speed and quality of service; and optimized use of infrastructure resources.
The agreement builds on Russian-Cuban cooperation that began in May 2025, under which VOXYS and ITCódigo S.U.R.L completed projects over the course of a year focused on competency exchange, specialist training, and technology export.
The project with the Central Bank of Cuba demonstrates the expanding export potential of Russian IT companies and the creation of new avenues for international technological cooperation, including within the critical infrastructure segment.
Cuba is viewed by VOXYS as a strategic entry point for further promoting Russian IT solutions in Latin American markets, including Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Peru.
