Representatives of the Kaliningrad region held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammad Ahmad Sultan Essa Aljaber. The sides discussed the launch of joint investment projects, potential investments by Emirati funds in the regional economy, exports of Kaliningrad products to the UAE, and the opening of a direct Dubai–Kaliningrad flight. Special attention was given to cooperation in the amber industry and the development of tourist flows from the UAE.
